About Us
We believe that every house and every space should be beautiful to see and wonderful to experience. We understand that each client has their own set of needs and expectations, and that each site presents its own opportunities. Our goal is to create custom designs that meet those needs, and take advantage of those opportunities, while paying careful attention to a project’s budget, schedule and scope of work.
We impose no fixed style. We believe that traditional styles and neighborhood character can guide us and inspire us, but not limit us. Each of our projects is designed for an individual client, and we strive to create spaces that are open and bright, well-detailed and highly personalized.
We specialize in residential architecture and the design of distinctive work environments. We provide design and consulting services for new homes, alterations and additions to existing homes, professional office space, and special commercial interiors. For those clients who seek environmentally responsible solutions, we offer green design and consulting services, as well.
Our principal, Jacob Goldberg, received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and his professional degree in architecture from Harvard University. Before opening his own practice, he worked as a designer and project manager for award-winning firms in Manhattan and Westchester County. Since launching his own practice, he has done work for clients in New York, Connecticut, Washington D.C. and California. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, maintains NCARB certification, and is a LEED Accredited Professional, participating in an ongoing program established by the United States Green Building Council.
